What is the purpose for which Konecta processes your personal data? 

At Konecta, we process your personal data with the utmost respect and compliance with applicable regulations regarding the protection of personal data.

KONECTA processes the information you provide in order to manage your application in the selection processes to be carried out within KONECTA to fill positions, with the ultimate goal of you joining the company where said process is successfully completed. Thus, it becomes necessary to process your data for the purpose of formalizing your possible recruitment and, subsequently, for the execution of the labor contract, including compliance with the obligations established by law or collective agreements on management, planning and organization of your work, equality, diversity in the workplace, health and safety at workplace, and with the purpose of the exercise and enjoyment of rights and benefits related to employment.

We inform you that we will solely process your personal data with the aforementioned purposes.

We inform you that, in any case, automated decisions may be made based on your profile.

For how long do we keep your personal data?

The data provided by you concerning your resume, work and/or professional experience shall be retained, once the selection process finalizes, even where you are not selected to join KONECTA’s staff, for the time deemed necessary to meet legal requirements.

Even if your application does not result in you working with us, Konecta may retain the data provided for three years, with the purpose of getting in touch with you for future selection processes, prior selection of the corresponding check box by you.

In the event of being selected for the position of your choice, but not formalizing your onboarding process, the following data shall be removed within one month: copy of your ID card, social security number, bank certificate, and/or certificate of disability voluntarily provided by you for the purpose of preparing your employment contract.

What is the legitimacy to carry out the processing of my personal data?

Please be informed that the legitimization for the processing of data is that said processing is necessary for the execution of a contract in which you take or will take part.

Who will receive your data? 

The data shall not be communicated to third parties, except by legal obligation.

If selected, in order to formalize your employment contract, your data may be communicated to agencies of the National, Regional or Local Administration, County Councils, the State Public Employment Service (SEPE, in Spain), the National Social Security Institute, the Treasury General of the Social Security, and other agencies related to employment, Tax Offices and other fiscal agencies, and the National Foundation for Employment Training (FUNDAE).

Otherwise, your data shall only be assigned where necessary for compliance with a legal obligation.

What rights do you have as data subject? 

As owner of our personal data, you may exercise, both on your own behalf or through a legal or volunteer representative, rights of access, rectification, processing limitation, deletion, opposition, as well as the right to the portability of your data.

Within a maximum period of 30 days from reception of your request, a period that we shall make our utmost effort to reduce, you shall receive a response from us. Where you are not satisfied therewith, you may contact the Spanish Data Protection Agency to apply for the protection of your rights.

How did we obtain your personal data?

The personal data processed by Konecta BTO S.L. have been collected from the resume and data provided by you to take part in our selection processes.

The categories of data processed are:

  • Identification information
  • Information related to your resume (CV)
  • Information about your work and/or professional experience
  • Bank account number, once selected
  • Degree of disability (where applicable)

At KONECTA, we process your personal data with the utmost respect and compliance with applicable regulations regarding the protection of personal data.

We process data related to your attendance to our offices or to an event or seminar organized by Konecta or its business partners, and to contact you and inform you as part of our professional and business activities.

These include delivery of newsletters, Christmas cards or the like.

We inform you that we will solely process your personal data with the aforementioned purposes.

We shall process your personal data until you express otherwise.

What is the legitimacy to carry out the processing of my personal data?

Please be informed that the legitimization for the processing of data is based on the consent provided by you upon checking the check box(es) enabled to such effect.

The entities to which we are bound by legal requirement.

Furthermore, we inform that KONECTA works with several entities that provide you with services requiring access to your personal data. Therefore, these entities are deemed KONECTA’s data processors.

Upon providing your data, you consent to the processing of your data both by KONECTA, as well as by the Group companies to which it belongs, which may be located outside the European Union (EU).

Planned data transmission and recipients thereof: Your personal data shall be transmitted to other Konecta’s business group companies, which may be located in countries outside the EU for the above-mentioned purposes.
